I went for a ride in the Solstice's sister car at an Autocross, the Saturn Sky Redline and I have to say that thing was a pretty badass little ride! TONS of power and convertable! The last convertable I'd been in before that car was an S2000 and that thing drove completly different... Because it actually has Torque!!

sky redline/solstice GXP have 2L turbo and like 260 HP
base solstice and sky have 2.4L 175HP, so much more like the S2000, without 9,000 RPM to help it out.

car is really exactly what I need for a DD as far as power, handling, fun, but make no mistake it's a step down in every way from the RX-8, but is also MUCH less expensive and much less likely to get me in trouble

I know I stasrted all this, but if y'all set a date i'll try to make it.

First weekend in Oct is GTLive. Most of us will be there that weekend.
Being jobless kinda puts a damper on trips though

im planning a trip at the end of october, so if you guys set a date around that time, maybe we will bump into eachother. the last dragon meet we came the day that everyone decided to do something else...

(or they were still recovering from drunken kickball)

I am pretty tied up all fall with the GT live event/Redline time attack and SEMA.

I would love to go but it just doesnt look good until probably early spring for me.

You guys/gals should go around Thanksgiving.

We did this several years ago with a group and had a blast. Total ghost town though it did snow on the Cherohala over 4000ft.
