She went on the dyno today, but we need to get some 110. She also had a minor oil leak that we'll be fixing.

For now the breather hoses are venting into the plastic A.R.C. catch can you see on the far left.

nope, it was the cam oil feed rail allen plug, it was loose, we tightened it.

Alot of the red lines are crankcase breather hoses. The ej207 block has extra vent locations. lots.

LOL... oh man. Your ARC catch can is too funny.

How high are you planning on revving the motor? What was the max rev on the wastegate boost pull in that vid?

Congrats on getting her running mate!!!

for you!

We'll clean up the fuel line routing now that it's tuned. We still need to make catch cans and plug the DCCD controller in (we wired it already) Then she's ready to hit the track.

Awesome, thanks Bimmubishi. Always fantastic to hear and see a Subaru dyno pull going well beyond the normal rev range that most can attain.

kcook, not to crowd the build thread but we'll be at VIR for GT Live. Summit next year.

VAJ- we revved it to 8300 but the power started falling off at 8 so that's where it'll likely stay. Thanks for the compliment. The 2.2 is very smooth. Noticeably smoother than the 2.5 at high revs. There's a lot more in the car but it seems that for now the power will stay where it is for the year. It'll be a great start.

official update

September 22th, 2008
ITG air filter arrived.
We got C12 race gas and put the car on the dyno.
No boost controller, so we tuned it on wastegate boost.
She pulled 345.9wph at 8300RPM.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVrxa0njUFQ

We'll be taking her to the track for the test day on thursday.
