Question WRX muffler on a 96 impreza?

How would a stock WRX axel back sound on a 96 1.8 impreza. I would have the flanges made to fit my car.

Much better than the L exhaust. It's restrictive as hell. Think about getting headers and a 2.5" catback. Let's the 1.8, which is a great motor, breathe.

It sounds a bit deeper. I just put mine on two days ago. It was a bit of a pain to put the SPT midpipe on. I had to hack it in 3 parts and weld in another piece just to get it to fit. Over all I am satisfied with how it sounds.

I am going to try a stock STI cat-back and see how it sounds.

Stock WRX muffler sounds almost identical to... well, stock. Because really that's what it is. I put one on my car with 2.25" piping and it sounded stock as ever, only when you turned the car off you got some kind of weird bird chirping/whistling noises as it shuts down.
