Default Throwout Bearing Slipping?

Background:

After my swap (07 WRX into 98 RS, using RS drivetrain) I installed a Fidanza LW flywheel, with ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate, and Exedy OEM disc. Also installed brand new TO and pilot bearings. When I push in the clutch it makes a loud squealing, clicking noise that changes based on RPM. I have had it apart several times replaced the disc (was shipped a wrx one first) and the TO bearing. Replacing disc took care of part clicking noise (or most of it), but I still have the squealing.

Current:

I was out of ideas, and it seemed so was everyone else so I took it to my friendly neighborhood Suby dealer. They got it in today, said the bearings are all good, but think it might be the TO bearing is slipping on the fingers of the pressure plate. The tech said when he runs his finger around the PP fingers it makes the same noise.

He also noticed that where a stock Subaru PP has dished ends of the fingers the ACT was completely flat. He wanted to know if ACT has a special TO so I called them and they said they don't.

He thought maybe if he cleaned everything up real good (seems I was a bit over zealous with the greasing the sleeve the TO bearing rides on ) and maybe roughens the ends of the fingers it will grip and not slip and hopefully no more noise.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so how did you solve it?
