How many shirts are in your rotation?

I have a ton of clothes but I probably have about 6-8 nice shirts that I wear often. I have one or two regular shirts I sometimes throw in the rotation for variety. i never really give too much thought to my rotation but the other thread got me wondering. I wouldnt care if someone only had a 5 shirt rotation as long as they're clean.

I'm a sucker for sale racks. I've easily got 40 "nice" (dress-ish?) shirts, polos, etc. It's funny how the 2 or 3 times I've sprung for a full-price shirt that I "really liked," I end up never wearing them.

It makes doing laundry a much less frequent task.

Probably not. Stuff will make it's way towards the back of the closet and then I'll forget about it until I'm really hurting for clean clothes and start digging. Come to think of it, I should probably dig a little more and have a bag or 17 to drop off at Goodwill, huh?

I wash undershirts, boxers, jeans, etc. at least once a week. I wash "good clothes," which ends up being the aforementioned shirts and the slacks I'll occasionally have to wear, maybe once a month. Therein lies the beauty of it.

I have about 10 t-shirts (mostly solid black or other dark solids) that I rotate, about 6 button downs for slightly nicer occasions, one polo shirt, and 5 or 6 dress shirts that I rotate for work.

At work the same shirt (not the exact same shirt, but identical copy) every day. After work I have about 40+ t-shirts I wear.
