Default to the those who stole my stuff.. an open offer.

I am taking a chance here. Its been 60+ days... the trail has chilled.. its all good.

To the person/persons who broke into my car exactly 1-month to the day from getting it back from a warranty engine replacement. Yes, I live in East Dallas. You know exactly where & the address.. no one else could have.

I accept that you intentionally unmarried my Cobb AP1 from my ECU while you had it at your disposal for the engine replacement. I accept that you took advantage & that was your prize.

I don't understand how you could overlook the $180 in cash, the full book of blank checks, the non-traceable gift certificates, & my credit cards that were on TOP of the AP1... shame on you for being so focused on your prize, shame on me for leaving such things in my car... But I didn't loose them... so I will call that a Tie...

What I DO want is the Alpine Head unit you RIPPED from my clock-pod & left everything that was needed to make it work. You had my car at your beck-n-call for 98 days under warranty, the LEAST you could have done was either do your homework or leave something you had no interest in, alone.. The head unit was OBVIOUSLY not what you were after.

So here is my offer... return the Alpine Head unit. I won't be watching to see if you come back. I won't tell the cops to watch my house (I live so far out, they won't). I will eat the $300 window you broke with an Ac-Delco spark plug wrapped in a Heavy solder sling & the headache of that replacement.

I am totally serious... 210% on the up and up. Return the Head unit.. leave it under the car, next to the car, on my front door step, hell... take it to my local Police station like an abandoned child. They won't know...

If anyone knows anything about this little "situation"... PM me...

Oh... just to be clear... the stock stuff is all back in & I won't be replacing anything in the car... so don't bother for a revisit...

Nope not specifically from NASIOC... those in question do work for an "authorized warranty location" within the boarders of Texas.

thanks for the support

****ing East Dallas. My car got broken into twice - replacing the window is a BITCH and a half. I hope everything works out for you.

Glenn.. I think the Classifieds is the PERFECT place since this is where they will likely be looking to move the unit... but... if you feel it needs moved elsewhere... do the the courtesy of telling me which forum you will be moving it too...

Details: Alpine IVA-D300 7" fold out touch screen DVD unit. JUST the head unit itself is what is missing. Stolen Friday Sept 12th. East of Rockwall, TX

Cobb Tuning AP1 magically unmarried (I confirmed my car no longer has a tune after the new engine went in, which explains why its down on power).

those were the only 2 things taken.

So if anyone either has purchased or is looking at purchasing a used Cobb AP1 that doesn't have the jumper plug, software, box, or manual & mysteriously has no SN on the back... PM me....

i'm not a mod man, so i'm not going to be moving it anywhere. i just think you'd be getting a better response if you just posted it in the local forum.
