I didn't have a grit guard I employed a method called 'not wiping the bottom of the bucket with the sponge' to achieve this.

hmmm I would never admit that if I was an administrator of the site. of course the only reason why there would be a yellow sponge on my car was if I decided to go to an all girl bikini car wash to have it done. but thats just me
