Well, with one on the way, figured the wife would need something better to haul the kid in. So here is her new machine.

Loving this machine, so nice to drive, high up, sunroof is HUGE. it's everything she wanted (heated seats too) and of course what I wanted (turbo

)

and of course nothing is complete without alittle shot of both.

Thanks guys, the car is a blast to drive, coming up on 200 km

visibility is great, and the ride is smooth.

How do you like it? I am thinking of getting a wagon or mini-ute like the EX35, GLK350 and possibly the Forester, due to tuning potential.

In laws have had me test drive these three and more....

By far the Forester is the best, especially considering the price.

the GLK350, if I can say, is the worst of the mini-utes...the pick up is horrible, rear seats can only comfortably seat two, fit and finish is poorer than the forester.

I am looking to see what the Audi Q5 is like next

it's great, I setup both front seats how I like it, and then jumped in the back and had plenty of room, (I'm 5.9 and 200+) had it loaded with 5 adults and it felt like they weren't there, and they all had good space.

Finish is excellent, especially for the price. The leather is very nice. Overall it's exactly what we wanted. Options vs price is awesome. Only thing I wished it came with was LSD, but that can come later

3" longer wheel base makes a BIG difference for the inside volume as well as the ride.

nice rides!

i saw a white FXT on the highway recently with alberta plates, it had a full OEM kit and just flew past me. it was pretty freaking sweet!

btw, nice wheels on the wrx

ya the FXT is a great little ute in any year they where very underrated for versatility and power/fun, now of course the cat it out, and while I would buy an 08 FXT, the 09's styling is perfect for my wife, and the motor keeps me happy.

yup, I wish I could keep em all year round, but I got bigger ones coming for summer

i notice you have 4 pots in the front for your wrx, do you also have 2 pots for the rear?
if so, is it a straight bolt on? did you have to do any modifications to the hub or handbrake? im asking cuz im thinking about 2 pots for my rear.

Ya I got the 2pot rears from Banman before his car sold, so I couldn't tell you whats involved, but what I do know, is that it's the backing plate that is the only difference, but with that you have to remove your hub from the knuckle to install the new backing plate, at that point you can then swap between Brembo 2 pots and red/black jdm/06-07 2pots, with just a rotor change, the parking brake issue I believe is more to do with the hat size between brembo's and everything else, ala 190mm (brembo) and 170mm (everything else) So its a matter of finding the right rotors, stock 04 STI rotors wont work with P brake but will with bolt pattern, but I think DBA has rear rotors for $$$ that have the 5x100 we need, fit the brembo rear caliper at ~?12.3?" and fit the 170mm pbrake (I did a wee bit o reading on this).

but as for 2 pot reds, if you can try and get the whole hub/knuckle/spindle/backingplate and brakes assembly, it'll make it super easy to swap. Oh and my mech Hates the pbrake assembly

Yeah, but due to recent events in my life something non-sedan is needed. I still WANT the C63 but I need a 4-door hatch/wagon AWD.
