Just to be clear, I wouldn't ask or suggest anyone else leave there cars. I'm just doing it, as with asking if anyone is interested, as a favor, and it could potentially be a good time. Depending on things, I might be able to work out a luxury box or something out of the deal, but he has to talk it over with DM.

Basically it would be nice to get 10 or 12 cars, don't all have to be subaru's by any means, just wouldn't want any trash cavaliers or neons. So if anybody knows anyone with a decent car. Probably park them up on the sidewalk and whatnot around the theatre.

I had a set of the Whiteline G4's for my 04 STI and I absolutely loved them, I know they were discontinued about 3 yrs ago and supposedly a newer version was supposed to be out, but I haven't heard anything in a while. I love the Ohlins as well.

Yeah, i think ALK's are one of the ONLY illegal mods in SM. I'll be in SM this year too, I doubt I will be that competititve compared to my comp.

Slow day today, huh.

So for one of my classes, we've been asked to find a viable business that we can use our resources as Carnegie Mellon students to bring value to our customers. The catch is, we have only the semester to do this, and it's sort of a competition between our classmates as to who can perform the best.

What we've come up with in our group is to form a consulting company that allows us to offer our services at a much cheaper rate since (a) we're students and we're used to working at no salary, and (b) we can draw upon the expertise of faculty and staff at the university at very low cost. So what we'd provide you as an end product is a high quality, low priced solution. It can be anything, really. If your business has always needed a quality website and haven't had the time or the money to do it, this is the time. Or say you've always wanted to conduct a marketing research survey to figure out how consumers react to advertisements, promotions, coupons, etc., we'll be there to conduct the surveys and focus groups. If you've always wanted to lower your commercial insurance premiums but haven't had the time or resources to research all possible solutions, one of our team members actually has the license to sell such services, and is also a licensed financial consultant.

I know you may feel this isn't exactly the market to pay a consultant, but (a) we're probably cheaper than anybody since this isn't how we make a living, and (b) the truth is we can save you more than you'll probably have to pay us.

Joined wvmotorsports.com a while ago, hoping to find some Subies in the area I grew up in, since I visit there often. Haven't made a lot of posts yet, but put up some of the same pictures last night there that I did here. Not getting much love. Here are some of the highlights from that thread:

Looks like between NHSCC and SCCA autoX, pro solo, pumpkin carve, nora challenge, and time trial events I should be making ~ 25 events this year.......cross my fingers

The Wilson circuit time trial events coincide with the SCCA regional race at Beaverun (it's intentionally setup that way so they don't have to pay insurance twice). Wander over to the Hoosier trailer and they give 'em away like candy because people qualify once on them, and then toss them because they'd overheat in the real race if they used the A6 compound.

this pittsburgh thread needs a good bobert517 story. instead of slapping a special needs student, bobert517 clears the chem labs at cal-u. it all started yesterday morning when he couldnt find a 2 foot condensing tube for his acylation of toluene experiment. he wondered around the lab aimlessly for 5 minutes or so attempting to find one. well he did back in the corner of a room, he should of realized that it was in a corner for a reason. well he hooks it up to his flask adds the 15g's of aluminum chloride and turns the water to the condenser on. well before you know it smoke fills his station and students have the look of absolute horror in their faces as the smoke fills up with light from the small fire that is now created. he turns the water off and proceeds out the door with the rest of the students.


what happened is the condenser had a crack in it allowing water to escape into the flask where the aluminum chloride lay a wait for any non organic moisture to suck up and react with. needless to say i had to start over the experiment

Not your fault imo. If it was faulty it should have been disposed not left where someone looking for one would find it.
