As everyone knows they smell awesome but the just don't seem to last and your stuck buying a $7 refill once a month.
Well Gruppe-S finally found a solution.
Check out these JDM Super Size Air Freshners !
Super sized these things last twice as long as the smaller versions.
Check out the comparison!
Fits perfect under the seat.

$7 a month is not bad to keep that fresh scent everytime you open your door.

umm the regular is just more of a pure more thick smell... while the light squash is softer but works just as well

I said those same exact words after hearing about these a few years ago. After buying one for myself I've been using it in my car(s) ever since.

I am using CS-X3 with Squash scent. It smells citrusy if I would ask me. But if your going with CS-X3, don't ever get the red one because that thing is just pure crap.
I've also used that jumbo air freshener, but I still prefer CS-X3...

I've tried the Air Spencer squash and the popular one that comes in a can. I prefer the Air Spencer one since the can has a very strong citrus scent.

Remember, just because you don't smell it anymore doesn't mean it's not there. I don't smell it at all anymore, even after putting in a refill (I'll smell it for a day). Everyone who gets in my car though immediately notices it.
