Well, i just bought a bugeye sedan from this guy. He has some kind of top rear diffuser that he attached with double sided tape and some solf silicone stuff. I pulled the diffuser off and was able to take the double sided adhesive off, but the silicone just won't come off! I tried with a heat gun, hair dryer,WD 40, Wax, Alcohol, WTF!! Can someone help me out! Thanks in advance.

....a thought came to mind.... You may have heard how some use fishing line to remove badges/emblems. How about running a line through the silicone in a slow sawing motion? ....as close to the paint as possible. If you can remove the majority of it and are left with a thin coat, it may be easier to deal with. Personally, I would probably just hit it with my buffer at that point (with a moderate polish) which would likely cut right through the remaining layer. ....vs. expirementing with different solvents.

Use wax and grease remover with a clean rag and rub to remove silicone. I used this to remove silkaflex glue
