Default storage care

If you are going to take your wrx off the road for several months, what should be done to prep the car for storage in a garage?

I would recommend building up a few layers of protection on all surfaces. In the lsat few days leading up to storage I would do a layer a day. Let everything cure, come back the next day and hit it again, and repeat. Paint, plastic, rubber, wheels, wheel wells, tires, under the hood, etc... Same for interior. Use a fabric protectant for the carpet and upholstery, or leather protectant. Use quality products. Nothing with and oil base, or petrolium base. You will degrade the surfaces if that kind of stuff just sits there for months. Use quality water base products.

Rubber/plastic: 303 Aerospace Protectant, OPT protectant plus, OPT opti-bond (tires and even interior)
Fabric: 303 Fabric Gaurd
Leather: Leather Master (by Uniters)
Paint: Just something quality. Lots of choices. I'd probably do a couple layers of a Carnauba (Clearkote Carnauba Moose is a good one, you can use it on all surfaces including the glass) and then top with a sealant like OPT opti-seal.

Yes thats a good for all things storage, but your exterior and interior care sections leave a little to be desired. Nu Finish is crap!
