Default 2002 wrx ppg transmission, needs a shortblock

SOLD

The car has a spun bearing on a 97k ej205.
PPG 1-4 helical trans has 17k miles on it, and was built by andrewtech with brand new syncros. it shifts like the day I bought it and has had 3 fluid changes done already. 500 miles to breakin, 15k miles on redline shockproof, 2k miles on redline/ motul.
vf39 with 30k miles
565's
turboback txs downpipe, blitz nurzpec
uppipe
255 fuel pump walbro
opensource tune with tactrix cable
H6 rear brakes
stainless lines
ate blue fluid
hps pads.
optima battery
boost and a few other guages on a pillar
brand new summer gs-d3 tires
5k miles left on a set of all seasons.
body is straight and paint is decent

EVERYTHING is still in the car. It was my daily driver so it is complete.

Asking 8800 with the trans or 5800 without the trans.
I am willing to source a used ej205, ej257, or a new shortblock to go with the car. The car is fixable in a day with the right tools. I will deliver it within reason for cheap if you come up with cash to buy it. I am located in Western NC

I will seperate the trans but as of now I WILL NOT PART IT OUT unless someone wants the chassis.

I also have alot of spare/ stock parts laying around that will go with the car.

More pics upon request if i left any info out just ask im sure i forgot something.

Thats how it sits after i drove it home on thursday night. Its obviously dirty and not spotless. I will wash it and detail the interior before it sells.
I would have some pics of the interior but it was locked and i didnt feel like getting my keys.

The white crap under the car is speedy dry from where i drained the oil to confirm the spun bearing.

The carbon the on the bumper comes off no problem. The wing has a small crack in it due to a tree branch and the front bumper has some spider cracks in the paint from getting bumped in the parking lot.
Its not perfect but id say for 97k its not bad.

Thanks man, a short pull in 2nd gear it will walk a lightly modified turbo S4 with ease. Those gears really help out.

Thanks robbie. I want to fix it but instead of spending 3k i can probably sell it for closer to 8. It doesnt make sense if you think about it.

I have no real complaints. Handles great, looks good, seats are supportive / comfy, interior is nice, ride is good, sound system is great. There are a few minor inconveniences, the back seat is basically unusable for anyone 5'8" and over. Im 5'8 and i am about 1/2 inch from the rear glass/headliner. But i cant remember the last time i had to use the backseat for people anyway. The power isnt what i'm used to but its also about 100 whp less. So its not teh cars fault.

I really enjoy driving it.
