You're wasting your money going from a vf34 to an 18g. I would go 20g. This would be like spending $1000 to go from a 50 shot of nitrous to a 75 shot. Not worth it. I have rode in a 20 g car and they still spool pretty good. I have rode in a green powered car and that is where you get into the big lag.

The 20G is the way to go lately and most will concur with the above statement, might as well skip the 18G and go straight for the 20G. I plan on getting the Slowboy 20G in the spring.

i have an 18G in my bugeye on a bone stock engine. If i did it again, i would go with a 20G. Its not that im not happy with my 18, im just greedy and want to see how much i can get out of my stock 2.0. ill post some numbers soon after i get tuned. hopin north of 320whp

for some reason i kept thinking they gave me the wrong turbo. no meth. and not agressive timimg. i honestly though i had a 16g.

What's your setup, and have you ever taken it to the track?

Edit: Found your setup, hta green and 2.5 block. Second question still applies. I'd like to see what kind of times you can pull off with that; although I really wish you would've been able to run the 16g at the track...

ETA: This was with a stock cat, which of course sucks. Also, whole setup is for sale in FS forum.

I chucked a rod through the top of my block with this setup. I wouldn't call it the norm though. Worked really well for a while.

When I went to the track with the 16 my clutch took a dump on the first run... Couple weeks later motor blows.

I want to run it at the strip just don't have any time anymore

Maybe this weekend or next, idk... Don't want to risk breaking any thing at the strip, I predict good times though LOL car is around 2800 lbs with 450whp

are those dynojet numbers? your pinks must be pretty damn maxed out lol.

To be honest, I always thought the same, but I had it tuned by TXS and trusted them when they said it was good. Fuel pressure is unmodified.

I'm guessing that trap is pretty high for 565cc injectors on a wrx?

DW850's and a 3076R will be in soon enough anyway. Car is being taken apart now.

last setup with a stock 2.0, stock trans, stock clutch, full interior, ran 11.8 @ 115 on c16 only pass i got that day and was never able to go back again.
