Post Could the factory 's low amount of tranny fluid have hurt it?(kinda long)

I have been driving my RS for almost six months now and I checked the tranny fluid today and there is a tiny drop showing up on the dipstick(well below LOW). I am going to put some more in but could this have damaged anything? I have posted before because of weird noises I hear from the tranny while downshifting. I have the subaru shift kit and someone else with a 2001 with the shift kit is experiencing the same thing. He also had a low tranny fluid level and has about the same amount of miles. I am taking it in to get it checked out but my dealership does not seem to know much. I think I will call SOA before to see if they have any info. Is it me or is this really lame? Why don't they check the fluid level? I hope to get this tranny problem/noise resolved soon along with my cold shuttering clutch.

Arrrggghhh!
