lets see.
I'm 28
Unemployed
No savings
The profession I'm best at tanked up over year ago (car sales)
Might move home

Now somehow I have had a few leads from monster and CL.

We're in the same boat, all I was saying in my original post was that I've seen jobs like what you're looking for available... I'm sorry you're not getting any responses, thats not my fault... I was merely saying I've seen positions like that out there. Now get back out there!

I'm leaving my job for a new one so anyone interested in Helpdesk at JPS in Fort Worth look up Phoenix Health Systems website. Not sure what shift they will give you but it would probably be Wed-Sat from 11am-10pm with Sun-Mon-Tues off since the dude currently working that position will probably take my old shift.

Well I don't think the NSA, DIA, CIA has anything in Texas but you could join up with plenty of contractors here that would be able to continue your security clearance if you have one.

As of yesterday. I was called in from home on my day off and given the great news.

Speaking of news, I am looking at working in TV news as a video journalist or in the corporate world... hell, even working for government. NASA TV anyone? Been doing this for over 10 years. I need to stay in or around Houston.

Thanks for any leads.

As far as I know this position is still open/interviewing and the helpdesk position as well. The helpdesk starts off at 37k a year, not great but it kept me afloat when I needed it and much better then being on unemployment.

Anybody have a job for me? I'm tired of waiting tables. It needs to be in Dallas or one of the northern suburbs. I have my AAS in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu. In other words, I'm a chef. But I love sales as that what waiting tables really is. I can sell ice to an eskimo.

Thanks,
David
