Default 1995 Impreza 2.2 cylinder 2 misfire

I just acquired this car in a trade and took it to Shucks today for Check engine light..

Comes up: Cylinder 2 Misfire and knock sensor failure

Where do I start? I want to put as little money into this car as possible and sell it. But I would like to do what I can to take care of the problem. The only work I know of that was done to car is the previous owner said he replaced spark plugs so I'm going to check wires and make sure plug is installed correctly..

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.
