2008 RED STI Deep Dish look

Here is a pic of my 08 STI with 18x8.5 rims with a 35 offset w/2in front lip and 3in rear lip. I have 245/40/18's on the rims and I want input on if I should paint the rims to match the car or leave the lip the way it is.

They are XXR Racing....off brand....

now we're talking ... i say paint the back half of the rims red and call it a day. keep the spokes and center black. I don't think I would go all red, but all black would be good too. YMMV.

I thought about that and I have been trying to think of a way to line the inside of the rear rims to do a test first to see how it would look.

I can't stand all black rims.. Looks like an expensive set of steelies. In my opinion, your rims don't really set the car off much.. but don't worry about my opinion, it's your build.

Cleared everything no problems. I had to roll the finders in the rear a little not much.

They are alot bigger then normal since normal does not have a lip at all. They are 3" rear and 2" front.

Thanks for the honesty...since i didnt get the premium version STI with BBS rims I had the 5 spoke and these are alot better then those and the stance looks alot better now also. The pics really doesnt do it justice..

Why did you have to roll the rear? It's a 18x8.5 wheel with a stock tire, right? On stock suspension?

So are the offsets different front & back (since you said the lip width is)?

offsets are 35 and 38 atleast that is what was advertised for the rims.
