Default Rota DPT w/ 255/40/17 RE070s

Wheels are 17x9" with 255/40/17 Bridgestone RE070s off the rear of an S2000 CR. They fill the fenders very nicely! -3.0 front camber -2.0 rear camber. No fender mods at all.

OMG those tires! They probably really have a 275 tread with a 245 section. Silly question, but how does it feel? I bet it grips awesome.

They seem good so far. I don't think all the mold release if off them yet though. I was racing all weekend and I don't use these wheels/tires. I am going to run them at an autocross sometime this year against 245 width RE-11s and see how they compare.

I will take some rear shots though, that is the one shot I meant to take and didn't because I was too lazy to move the car.

The wheels are 43mm offset.

love how the sidewalls are perfectly square with the outer rim. looks identical to the 255/40/17 re01rs i got for my DPTs.

i can't even imagine how those re070s feel! any experience with that width in the rain yet?

It was wet this morning, but just the surface. It felt ok, I am sure it will feel good in deeper rain too though.

Yup they're flat black, the sunlight reflection made me think gunmetallic at first.
