Here's a blog post with additional pictures and info: http://www.cgbagne.com/wrx/?p=172

I'm actually thinking about redoing it to clean up the area below the display. This was basically my first DIY, and I feel I could do a better job with it now.

I got the car like this, But custom (now busted) fiberglass lip, and Halo projectors, with SUV fogs wired into the stock fogs. Also the fogs have a small light that lights them up with the day runners on. Yellow lens paint for that pretty yellow light up at night time.

It's a 95 Impreza with a EJ18 in it. And 97 Outback front end. Still have no idea what the spoiler is. Also if you look on the drver side rear, you will see a thing for a CB antenna.

Thats the antenna peice with a strange way of trying to fix a rusting quarter...

Maybe not the most unique on the planet, but I made this heatshield by hand, seriously old school....Hammer and anvil. It wraps about halfway under the filter and curls back in to try and keep as much heat away as possible. Wound up lowering my idling intake temps by about 40 degrees.

I know others have done it too, but heres a pic that shows 2 of my mods. I mounted my cobb AP so I can use it hands free, and blacked out the whole top half of my interior so it matches the bottom half.

The bottom one you will be able to buy shortly. It doesn't do much good shedding hot engine bay air though.

Data gauge that showed manifold pressure, IAT, load, etc etc etc. Make one. It was hooked up to my engine management. I sold it earlier this year.

Damn, I'm looking for a good, easy way to make the "frame" of a hood scoop delete so I can put some mesh across it.

Also damn on the data display. I'm still using the stock ECU and working up the hardware necessary to interface with the OBD-II system, process the data, and display it to the VFD is a bit over my head.

Yeah, the WRX hood from my year is 16lbs, 6Oz lighter than the RS hood, so I have the WRX hood on. I *HATE* having a hood scoop, so I want to get rid of the ****er.
