uppipe and tgv CELs

i had some mods done to my subie recently which included a catless uppipe and tgv deletes, so i'm getting the CELs associated with those mods.

what's the correct way to get rid of these CELs with romraider? do i use the CEL fixes, delete the codes, or both?

turn off the codes in romraider, I think its under the emissons folder

second. That's the "right" way to do it. Don't bother with CEL fixes, just disable the codes in RomRaider/ EcuFlash. www.romraider.com

disable the CELs and also enable the TGV fix (16-bit ECU).

thanks. that's what i did. i was getting the P2004, P2005, P2016, and P2021 CELs. i disabled those CELs and enabled the tgv fixes that included those CELs. but i left the other tgv related fixes and CELs alone, so i haven't enabled all the tgv fixes nor have i disabled all the tgv CELs. should i go ahead and enable/disable those even if those CELs haven't been thrown?

also, should i clear the CELs first with a scan tool before disabling them? or does that not matter?

no, you do not need to clear the codes with scantool. Just disable and flash (you can always reset the ECU in RR's logger if you like although a flash has the same effect with most ECUs).

If you aren't getting the CELs pertaining to a fix, then you don't have to enable the fix. Won't hurt anything if you do anyway.
