Never let physics get in the way of a good kill story.
physics?

when do dyno number ever = trap speed or 1/4 time?

you can never really compare dyno numbers with other dyno, hell even on the the same dyno on a different day it will read different

go for it Sean, i heard the new updated Perrin headers are better then the last versions regarding the cracking issue. The runners on the Perrin manifold seem to be a tad bit on the smaller side when compared to other manifolds. I liked the results with the perrin EL when ed tuned it. 284whp 331tq @19psi from just tbe,el manifold, intake. Now I'm running the GT Spec EL manifold.

Nice numbers. Maybe its a 2.5 thing but my power does not fall off badly.

I'm only running if i remeber correct like 23 degree up top. But then again were talking 2.0 vs 2.5

Maybe your tuner can answer that question, since you brought it up and I didn't.
*** Standard Dyno Chart Disclaimer ***

This software reads low and should be compared to the lower reading mustang dynos. Here are some proven numbers and trap speeds for reference:

Stock WRX - 155-165whp
Stock STI - 215-225whp

265-275whp - 107-108mph traps
300-310whp - 112-113mph traps
325-335whp - 115-116mph traps
380-390whp - 120-121mph traps

*** End Disclaimer ***

A heads and cam ls1 with a 3200 curb weight isn't going to lose to an STi with YOUR MODS by 5 cars it unless something was seriously wrong with it, or you forgot to mention it was towing a boat.

I've owned comparable vehicles to both your STi setup and a heads/cam Ls1. Vehicles in my case, a 20g STi trapping 96 1/8th and 119 in the 1/4 and a bolt-on 3100 lb C5Z ) and I'll tell you right now, there is no 5 car length difference from a roll.

well Eds Road Dyno is proven, with all those power level has match the trap speed,

i ment to say is that most dyno out there are not proven on the strip

BTW. when did i say that 3200lb car was a Heads and cam LS1? all i said was it wieghted 3200lb and it made 401whp on a dynojet right?

im glad you fail to watch the video of a LS2 GTO with big cam making 460whp on a dynojet and getting blown off by my car

believe what you want to believe, i have plenty of LS1tech and SVTperformance members that can vouch for what my car could do

btw heres my friend stock turbo STi against a bolt on small cam c5 z06 from a roll he made 420whp on LG dynojet

Please take down the street racing videos and quit with the street racing discussions/comparisons. We do not support or promote that behavior on NASIOC.
