Default How long have you had your car & Why do you want to get rid of it?

I have my Honda fit for about 8 months now and I want to get rid of it because I want something with a little power. Otherwise, the car is a great daily driver that get great gas mileage & can haul a lot of stuff. Maintenance is super cheap too.

Or are you one of those who love their car and will never part with it.

Ive had my '65 baja bug for 5 years and I probably will never sell it because she was my 16th birthday present from my parents. As for my wrx ive had her for 2 years and the only reason I would sell it would to get out of a car payment.

i have had my05 for since i got it in nov05, and i will never sell. maybe a straight up trade with the dealership for a brand new STi in the options i want.
which won't happen, but if it does, then that's the only way i'm going to get rid of it!

Right around 6 months now, in which time I've gone from stock to sage 2 among a few other upgrades. I'm not a big fan of the throttle response / turbo lag or of the 1970's transmission. It is a pretty fun car to drive though and does the daily driver duties well. I'll see how I feel another year down the road...

If you pay under 100 bucks for insurance and can go to the store without your gas gauge dropping, what the **** are you bitching about.

I've had my sti for more than 2 1/2years. I'll part with it as soon as i can afford something better. Either that or build the hell out of it.

I'll only sell mine if it's being sold as a pile of rust.

I've had my impreza wagon for two years now and I'm ready to get rid of it because I'm ready for something a lil faster... Something more like an sti. I'm just tired of straight cosmetic mods and I wanna work more on performance upgrades.

That was your choice. I went the other route, I'm pretty happy. Then again I love my wagon. I started on a mission to slowly morph her into a track only girl and I don't plan on changing that up.

My parents bought me my bugeye in '05 when I was in high school. I've loved every minute of it for the past 5 years, but being that it has 120k on it and I've kept the mods clean and it is in excellent cosmetic and running condition - I don't plan on getting rid of it. And besides, it's an RS so the resale is sub 8-9k at the moment. So to me, it is worth keeping until I am out of college and can afford a car on my own. Even when that day comes, I hope to keep it as a second car/track build.

He's got an Impreza... not a WRX.. it really wasn't his choice on what mods he could do to the car he bought.

It will be three years in march. Its leased to I'll just be retuning it to SOA. I change cars frequently because I get bored with them. Thats why I leased this one, it forced me to hold onto ot for three years.

I've had my Xterra for 2 months. I bought it for camping and hauling stuff, but will probably get rid of it in the near future because I absolutely hate driving it around town. It is nice offroad though.

I've had my '85 MR2 for years and will keep it for years more because it's a blast to drive.

Had my 09 wrx for just about... 4 months. Only reason I am thinking about switching is because... well... it's not STI. But not sure if I want sti anymore and currently I am debating if I want to get Camaro 2SS instead or keep both cars.
