ok, so removed my intake manifold to get it re-powder coated that beautiful red color, and noticed that the suction pipe is torn around the area where it attaches to the turbo.
so the question, i dont think this will cause problems since its an area that should be mated directly to the turbo, but does anyone have suggestions on a new suction pipe i can pick up? |

I have a WRX stock pipe jammed into there currently. It is not a good fit but works. I have only seen these ebay one's for replacement. Those who tried them say they work Ok, but may not flow any better because the inner diameter is pretty much the same.

i have one from autobahn 88 /zena racing and its actually a very nice piece this is the one you want: these guys are really good to deal with .. i have ordered from them 4 times now .. stuff gets here faster than if i ordered it from the east coast order all the hoses while you are at it ... i bought one from autobahn as well for my ej-20k but it's way too tight of a fit. is there any alternative? something that'll work stock from a usa dealership? or any aftermarket piece is fine too.

RUnning with a torn pipe causes the engine to run lean so be careful.

I got the autobahn 88 one for mine, and I am never taking it off because its such a tight fit. Where it runs under the intake plenums and over the fuel rails, there is not very much room at all.

Not a 3 inch but gobs cheaper and better than those listed above(might be able to squeeze over a 3" or just get a adapter. I have a nice red one on my version iv right now.
