Default exhaust suggestions pleasee

ok so i have a 03 bugeye, FP 68hta turbo, DW 565cc injectors, walbro 255lph pump, tune, yada yada.. i currently run a titek cated DP, and blitz touring 3in catback. now my problem is i really want a pipe that has slightly better ground clearence. overall it is ok but for some reason blitz has a downward bend before the resonator, the resonator, then an upward bend. the resonator hangs redicously low compared to the rest of the exhaust, and there is plently of room for the resonator to not be hangin that low

so i guess what im wondering is should i cut the exhaust, rotate the resonator reweld, or remove resonator and reweld a pipe in place. or should i look into something like the perrin dual tube exhaust?

and on a side note it seems that my exhaust has started getting a little raspy/ not so good sounding. it doesnt sound as good as i remember it sounding when new..any ideas why??

much thanks for all input, please help a noob

If you can weld and all you want is the ground clearance then why not just rotate it.

i can weld, i would just need to buy the correct tungsten for my fiances brothers tig welder, and stainless filler rod. so this i can do. but my other thing im curious about is why it seems my exhaust is starting to sound worse, and cheesey...gettin raspy.???? is it the resonator, muffler? ideasss?????

^I concur. I would only spend the cash on another cat back if I couldn't stand the cars current exhaust note. But I prefer my exhaust on the quieter but deep side(borla hush) and would probably take the time to research and find an exhaust that fit my taste.

But if you are considering changing out the cat back or axle back look into other members reviews, decibel testing, and/or sound clips on youtube or other similar sites. Good luck with what ever path you choose, do whatever makes you happy.

By the way what kind of numbers are you putting down with the hta68? I've always been curious to see what people are getting out of those turbos on the 2.0L. I've seen tons of mixed reviews but it would be nice to hear about it first hand.

sadly no dyno yet... just did a etune and used the saved money for other things, im in college as well so i have many expenses other than my money pit. but as far as performance goes i love it, great power, lag isnt bad, and it was more than enough to make my stock 5mt feel weak. o well shes runnin a 05 6mt now

ive always been very sastified with nthe volume of the exhaust and tone, however it just now seems like its changed or maybe its me

i would just rotate and weld the resonator if your looking to save money. it could be a number of things on the sound, possibly the muffler is wearing out and changing pitch which they can do over time or you cat could be flaking apart. i personally love my megan catless dp with turbo xs ti catback. awesome deep sound and great ground clearance. i will be posting a video of it soon if you are considering it. let me know
