Here are some more pics of the swap

ACT Flywheel

ACT clutch assembly

The awaiting tranny. Notice the excess mounting holes on the tranny that do not exist on the block.

Ease it in there nice and smooth....

It took some rocking and creativity to get the motor mounts to slide in just right

Done

I am currently working on re-wiring the whole car. It is a lot of research and double checking everything is labeled correctly before I cut one wire. The whole dash is out of the car and I also got the new 3" invidia TB exhaust in.

How many custom mods does it take to stuff a 3" STI exhaust in a GC/GM? ........None

HAHA thanks man! Let me know if you have any questions about the build. There are several little things to worry about that seem to take more time then building the damn thing!

If I could do it all over I would probably just go rotated right from the beginning

Ok time for a long over due update....

I wired in the Haltech ECU and I am very impressed with the product as well as the tech support. Haltech FTW!! I had a custom aluminum mount built for it and it sits it front of the passengers seat. Lots of wiring, hose routing, and making **** fit and it is out of my hands now. The car was picked up and is now in the shop to have the FMIC installed and the car tuned.

Tuning will be done by Dominic and the boys down at Maxwell Power. I went to their shop dyno day and I was sold. Extremely nice shop and great guys to boot.

Sorry for the lack of pics but all of my cameras have forsaken me. I will get some pics and videos when I get the car back from the shop.

Get that center hanger moved. My old swap used TurboXS turbo back and the exhaust bounced around crazy because I just left the center hanger off.

Car has been in the shop for several weeks now but should be ready very soon. I guess some of my fuel lines needed some attention and they had to wait until they had some openings in their schedule to put in some time. Hope to have her back soon Waiting suxx.

Thanks for the spell check

Good luck with the sale. Get that beast out so you can start your own project

You know I am down to turn some wrenches any time! I am frustrated because I have a sweet garage now but no car to put in it or work on It's been almost 6 weeks now in the shop and I really have no idea when it will be done. Hopefully I will have an update that is worth a **** soon. I miss my subie!
