first this is a tripod, that will improve you 'auto' images greatly. but with a power and shoot you don't have that much control over anything.

I'm thinking of selling my 40d, 17-55 IS f/2.8 + 10-22 , and get another 5dmk2...am i nuts? lol I do wedding photography and 2x 5dmk2 I think would suit my high ISO needs.
or I can keep my 10-22 and just get a 7d. ![]() |

i was in the same situation before... and i decided to sell the 40D and bought myself a 7d so i didnt have to sell any of my lenses... if i were you, i would buy the 7D so you might able to take some advantages of the crop body :P |

beach camera has a $300 off coupon right now, minus 2-5.1% bing cashback, $2399 - 48(2%) or 122 (5.1%) , I think I'm leaning towards getting another 5kmk2. ![]() |

![]() Ironically, I took a picture of all of this with a cellphone: 1D mkIII 5D mkI 50D 70-200mm 2.8 IS L 35mm 1.4 L 17-40mm 4.0 L 300mm 2.8 IS L 430ex II (hidden) 4x AB 800's Manfrotto legs/pistol grip head (hidden) powerpacks, light stands, monos not pictured...The 50D is a work loaner too. Film: Holga Nikon EM Pentax K1000 When all is said and done, I think my favorite combo is the 5D/35 1.4 |
