Thumbs up Mad Props to Wayne at VTR!!!

I wanted to express my satisfaction with Wayne at VTR. I talked to him via this forum about getting me some sort of protective layer between my roof rack and roof. We decided that the 3M clear bra type product would/should work well. So I drove up there for the cigar night that he was having and showed him what I needed. Sure enough, he cut out pieces out of some scrap material and I was good to go 10 minutes later. Went home and had my rack installed with a protective layer later that night!

Moral of the story, Wayne seems like a GREAT guy to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend him to people.

Thanks Wayne!

Hey, you did the same damn thing when I was trying to spell "better" in the MW2 thread!

On and on an related note, was great meeting Wayne this weekend and chatting about alarm systems. I'll be up there again soon!

I agree about Wayne being a nice guy. I've only dealt with him and the crew twice when I dropped of the items for the food drive. They are all nice up there.

I've had Wayne do two cars so far for tint and a third here soon. He had an awesome time on my XT6

I've had the tint done now on my RX for over 2 years and still looks great, except where I got a couple scratches on the back hatch

Oooooooo finally got sick of having a slow car huh?

I guess the upside to having a slow car is no broken axles (like me ).

we'll, I've been staring at a full ceramic coated turboback and uppipe in my garage for about 6months now...I'm tired of looking at them. Combine that with the "AccessPort Challenge" and its hard to not do it.

I figured I would bump this up. I've not seen a "mad props" thread for a while.

Thanks Wayne for legalizing my tint.

Backstory.
So the wife dropped the kids off at school, and as she was pulling out of the parking lot, a cop immediately pulled her over for the tint. He whipped his little gadget out and put it on the window then issues her a ticket.
She explained that we bought it from the dealership like that 6 years ago, and never had an issue, but he didn't care. Not even a fix it warning. Just a straight up fine.
I'm expecting him to be there every week from now on, so figured I would just replace it.

I was dreading the thought of having lighter windows in the front, but it looks great. (Although i do feel like something is missing. maybe the sense of danger. )

As always, thanks Wayne for the great customer service, it was good hanging out with you.

I told the missus on the phone that I had the sunstrip installed too.
She was expecting something like this.

Another great +1 for Wayne. All my cars have gotten a great tint, and that reminds me that I need to come re-do this terrible stock sound system in the new WRX! Help me out Wayne!

I also want to give a +1 to Wayne! A few weeks after I bought my pre-owned Subaru a few years ago, I found out my trunk didn't close every time, kept getting jammed on something. Wayne saw me struggling at the VTR BBQ came over, took off my trunk latch, hammered it out a little, installed it and got it working! All through kindness and helpfulness! People like him made me so happy to be a Subaru owner, and because of that we got my girlfriends wagon tinted there. Which in its own regard was an amazing job! I need some stereo work done, so the second I get some free time I am going to VTR!

+100 for Wayne. I met him over 5 years ago at a subie meet and he has never stirred me wrong when it comes to subaru's and has always been able to fit me in with his busy schedules and he always supports the subaru community as well. If you are looking for quality work where you don't have to worry about your car go to VTR in Everett!

VTR FTW!

Another bump for VTR!

This isnt my first time there...but I wanted to give thanks to Wayne and crew for the great service I received when I took my LGT there for a new MEGATRON battery and a oil change. I'll be doing my 90K service there in the future!

After 2 years of owning a STI turned WRX, it is finally once again an STI (and then some!) thanks to Wayne and then entire crew of VTR (lets not forget the rest of the awesome dudes there!). I only take my car to VTR for both maintenance and performance. Prices are fair and they always make you feel like you're the most important customer there. Thanks again guys!

another big +1 for Wayne/VTR. ****, I'm getting old, I think I've been going there for a decade now (slightly less frequently now that I wrench on my cars some). you simply will not find better customer service elsewhere. they really go the extra mile when you need information, and they don't feed ya any BS / won't misguide you, if they don't know something (it's rare), they'll figure it out for you. another huge perk is that they stand behind their work 100% and go above and beyond expectations for making and keeping everyone happy.

I've had help from them from everything under the sun.. window tint, full suspension upgrades, power upgrades, exterior bolt ons, audio stuff.. blah blah, and on a few cars. additionally, they also maintain all of the cars in my family. they always seem to surprise me with ways they can go above and beyond for you. I've had them replace missing bolts etc that I didn't even know were missing, just stuff they noticed while working on my car.. lol. it's awesome.

never once left there unsatisfied, and I am pretty particular about who is worthy of my business/$$.
