prosport sucks, they all suck except Defi, Defi doesn't make a 52mm gauge other than the racer series. (I have) The glowshift look better than defi red racer.

Only one problem with it, It reads -3 in.hg when the car is off. Which is really only like -.1 psi but it just looks goofy.

I had one before RR defs read in absolute..psi >24 punds , needed to monitor my boost over 25 psi ;-) paid 60 bucks for it, used it with out issue, was accurate and easy to install, removed it when done and sold it really quick, next owner is using with out issue, I have had DEFI BF in both my STi's, they are great guages but against my intial judgement I was proved wrong by this guage, would buy and use again no issues.

Thanks keith. I want all the same gauges in my car. The stri gauges I can get in both 52mm and 60mm just like the Glow shift. I just want accuracy that look good. Everybody I know has a different gauge, most of which have some sort of issue. Read incorrectly is the most common problem.
Adam are you going to be home for thanksgiving? I will come by and check it out if you are. |

I'll be going with Prosport because of the customer service. The guys are so nice and willing to help with anything. They even gave me a code to get a discount from attending the SEMA show. Which most companies were doing. But they also use the newest Bosch O2 sensor. Just a nice company over all. I just need an ATI 3 gauge pod and the prosport stuff.

My reference to the congeniality of the company was in hopes that they'll replace any non-working gauges. I know it's a bit of a hassle. That's obvious. But the customer service should make up for any product issues. I can't legitimatize spending $700+ on gauges. That's all.

I totally agree. I searched high and low for the Defi that I currently have. (Red racer series) $700+ is hard to swallow. I want an inexpensive gauge that works correctly. I am having a hard time believing I can't have both. That's why I am looking into the STRI, I need both 52 and 60mm with the same look. So far it's Glow shift, Prosport, Maddog, STRI, and Autometer

Had them shipped directly to my house from Hong Kong. they are Genome which is Defi designed specificly for subaru STi. they are 60mm and you can add more gauges to the controller tho there is a new version of controller specificly defi.
I just bought them because they say STI in the gauge and will make my build pretty sick! |

I also have some AEM gauges and will need another gauge or two to finish up.
I have ran Glowshift and others in the past and they are actually accurate to the point that they will warn of danger. there are a knock off brand of defi too on ebay that are also pretty accurate. Autometer are also somewhat good too |

Those STIgauges are pretty cool. They are every bit as expensive as the other Defi. I am bidding on some Defi on the ebay, we will see how it goes.

I actually only want/need oil pressure, egt and water temp. The others are just to fill gauge pods
If I get rid of my stock clock with a pod I want another clock to put in one of the gauge spots![]() |
