Default Windshield Gauge Pod for 2008+ Impreza/WRX/STI

The 08+ Impreza isn't an easy place to mount gauges. The dash is all curvy -- no flat spots for gauges to stand on. There's no obvious spot for a center dash pod. There's the Zero Sports single-gauge corner pod, but that's a little expensive.

This clever solution takes advantage of the unused space on the windshield above the rear view mirror. It attaches using high-strength double-sided 3M adhesive, plus a lip that tucks into the headliner.

We tried putting it down in the middle of the windshield, but the driver kept crashing...

Can you post up a clear picture of this through the windscreen?
I'm curious what it looks like through the glass...

It's almost completely obscured by the tint band and the factory black dot pattern that's above the mirror.

Sorry, we don't have pictures, but I do know that you'll have to mount it off to the side of the center, because the sunroof hardware makes a bulge in the headliner.
