just installed mine finally after having the kit for 4 months. Was doing wheel bearings so it was the perfect time to do it. I also canted my camber plates and got a full degree of caster. Between the both of them I am a happy camper. This is not a mod that goes un-noticed thats for sure.

Installed mine last week.
My car is near stock height so the difference wasn't drastic but definitely an improvement. |

hey guys, when trying to remove that bolt holding the knuckle together i ended up snapping off the head (yes i had pb blasted t for a week or so, was using a torch, still snapped it) anyways, does anyone know if the ENTIRE bolt is threaded? like can i drive around and not worry about it or is only half the bolt threaded and a possibility of the ball joint falling out if i dont fix this issue before just saying f it and driving it as is. also what are my options now when i do end up removing this bolt? drill it out and tap? what can i do that will not **** up my knuckle. thanks

By design, the front bit of the knuckle where the bolt goes through should not be threaded... if it were threaded on both sides, you wouldn't be able to use the bolt to squeeze it together...

Hi All,
I have a new KCA313 that I've had for a while. Ready to install now, but is this the very latest design? Can I swap for the newest version if not? ![]() ![]() Also Jim, when will the new ADJUSTABLE WHITELINE SWAY BAR BALL LINKS (BL-252) be available in Aus? Thanks, Steve |

That looks like the newer version of the kit. I believe the ones that had problems had tealish colored clamps on the boots.

WOW... 18 pages of posts... read probably 93-95%
willaty (sp sorry)... there was a mention of a specific ball joint too you recommended. Can you repost that? I looked 3-4 pages back from where it was mentioned & must have missed it. Aquacow... I know what you mean about the Va salt... they put something something in that mix that i like acid on Japanese coated parts. NJ uses the same stuff.. eats everything... One final thought, after reading all the posts after te V2 hit I think a few things come to my mind: 1.) each car will be a lil different. There maybe a slight gap (1mm or less) or one side or the other. Mark it or measure it. then check it occasionally. 2.) I think any movement people maybe seeing, post V2, is install related errors. Now now... don't everyone get your panties in a bunch. Its just like camber bolts, there are elements of this install that are easy to overlook. 3.) those who have been most vocal in this thread have all contributed immensely, & have all stated that V2 has solved the issue. 4.) It is a worth while upgrade, even for moderate to mild applications. I think Aquacow said it perfectly: no bump steer, no dartiness, no loose feeling, not vague (paraphrased) after a familiar & spirited mountain road cruise. Those were the things I was expecting to hear, especially since my Wagon will prob never see auto-x & rarely an open-track event. 5.) Bravo to Whiteline for stepping up, grabbing the Bull by the short-bits, & getting a solution engineered & on the shelves in record time. oh.. PS those lazy one who don't read the entire thread.... Rob |

Many track events.. ball joints and tie rods seem up to the task as well.

G’day everyone,
Good news it seems, thanks for the feedback. ![]() Stevenkelby, sorry for delay in getting back to you but we’ve got our summer holidays over here. 03SubyWRX is right, that is current version of the kit so it should be fine. Would love to hear you're feedback once you've installed it and had a good drive. TXwrxWagon, great summary, we'd obviously agree that it's a worthwhile upgrade for any performance enthusiast and not just a racers option. AquaCow, very pleased to see its working out for you. Cheers Whiteline Jim |

If not, at how much lower would it begin to be useful to use the RCA kit? (ie mildly lowered cars) |

I agree with Ty. I had my stock struts and springs on for a bit while rebuilding my coilovers and they helped tremendously. Very noticeable with stock springs and struts. My friend had a set on his stock Evo IX, his only suspension mod and he was absolutely floored by the difference just this small geometric change made to the handling of his car (less front roll, more front end grip). Same results for me on the stock struts/springs. |

Did Subaru add a "RCA" to the new GR impreza? If not, I wonder why? |
