Hey,
I am trying to decide on new brake lines for my 2010 WRX. I am a little dissatisfied with its performance and wear over the last 800 miles, So I am looking to get something a little easier to press that would give me better stopping ability. Any suggestions for stainless steel brake lines and pads?

What kind of driving do you do? Most people are more than happy with pad and fluid upgrade, lines don't provide a big difference.

.When you say easier to press, you mean what? Are you autocrossing/tracking? I have about 11 events on my 09 and the OEM brake pads are brand new...no wear. Granted they are coming off for Axxis Ultimates this weekend when I flush the fluid . |

The most trust brand of SS line is Stoptech found at TiC. Or at least that's my opinion. There are plenty other brands that people have used successfully through the life of the car, but there were always a handful of people running goodridge that had their line burst suddenly without signs of exterior damage.
I don't know any reviews on Technafit, but I'd like to know some. For pads, a lot of people either recommend Centric Posiquiet, or Stoptech Street Performance Brake Pad. I assume you're going for a street/occasional Autocross setup. Add in either Motul RBF 600 or ATE Blue/Type200 And you're good to go. |

You have a 2010 WRX? THEN DON'T BOTHER WITH SS LINES YET. Your brake lines are too new to have much flex.
I replaced my lines at around 20k miles and there was hardly any improvement because my lines were not "old". You should look into new pads (less compressible) and a master cylinder brace. (the GD chassis has a flexy fire wall, so I'm guessing the GR does too, albeit not as as bad) |

Also, apparently with some searching technafit has issues with leaking on the rear. Or at least, in the past they did. |
