Trying to fit a legacy 2.5 in my 1996 L. Help please

K guys I have searched for a couple hours on this and can't find a clear answer. I found a 05 Legacy 2.5L motor. What all is involved in swapping it into my 96 impreza L with a SOHC 2.2L in it? What wiring is involved? My 2.2L seized up after running out of oil playing in the snow so that is why I am swapping.

i put an 02 2.5 in my 96 1.8 coupe
it bolted right
i used the 1.8 engine harness and swapped it onto the 02 engine
had to do a little wiring for the IAC and i had to use my 1.8 throttle body
but it was pretty painless

I put a legacy 2.5 in my 95 1.8 just an impreza but I put the 1.8 heads on the 2.5 block had to drill a few coolant holes on the gasket but it bolts right in used my harness and ecu I don't have enough replies or whatever to do a thread but I need help I'm thinking abou putting 2.2 heads on my 1.8 block and boosting it I've already boosted the 1.8 then swapped to the 2.5 with 1.8 heads and boosted it but had alot of blowby and was getting oil in the intake from the breather tubes of the head any one ever do this or this a first? I'm just playin with all the interchangeable parts and building weird combos of a subie motor love the car btw any help would be appreciated messsege me instead of replieing cause idk how to check back thanks so much
