If you saw the kid, or how he was acting, or the state of mind he seemed to be in you would understand why I bounced. And I am not from SCIC, or even this side of the country, so leave your assumptions to yourself. kthnx

I had an asian girl in the car next to me lean out her window and yell "I LIKE YOUR CAR!". That's about the only time my car has gotten attention from a girl.

Him: Your car sure is loud as funk!
Me: Haha yea sort of...
Him: *points to hood scoop* OY, HE'S GOT A TURBO ON IT!

You don't have to be FROM scic to make "special" remarks, just live there. It's ok, I get the same thing for being from the Tri-State.

Some girl that had a WRX left her number on my car while I was at a party. I thought that was pretty cool/funny.

Did you call her? The degree of your manhood depends on your answer...

Having worked my ass off for my first car an 02 Bugeye WRX, I loved it very much, and was very proud of it, kept it super clean. My friends at time had old sh*it boxes and vans, so I was the only guy with a "cool" car. A new girl started hanging out with us, and I liked her very much. So this one time we hang out in a park, and plan on going to a lounge, so I offered her to ride with me, and she agreed. She gets in the car and I am so proud and sh*it, showing off my stock POS tripod (boost, voltage and temperature) and just wanted to impress the girl thinking I have a super car, lol. We now live together for almost 3 years,. Long story short she recently says to me: "The first time that day I got in your car I thought to myself wtf are all these gauges and stuff, like in and old helicopter, poor guy probably doesn't have money to buy a nice car". If she would have said that, me loving my Subaru so much at the time, I would've said 100%, Bitch out the effin car NOW! Now she knows what Subaru is, and doesn't think about it like she did. But the fact of a matter is that if she would have said something like that we DEFINITELY wouldn't be going out lol.

this is true to a lot of people. i started modding when i was 15. working on Toyotas at that time and now 26 years later, still modding, still not satisfied how cars come out of the showroom. compliments and looks from the younger generation on the street always makes my day.
