Default full wrx/sti interior swap in rs

im wanting to do a full wrx or sti interior swap in my 97 impreza. im talking everything... dash center console heater core etc... i wanna know how hard it is lol and if its worth it...

Dash and heater core are kind of a pain in the ass. Have to modify the firewall and dash support.

Its definitely going to be a good amount of work, be prepared to do some cutting and creative thinking but as so many have done before, it is totally possible. Make sure you do not half a** the install though becuase when step 1 is done half a** that makes 2-10 only half as good as it could be.

The stock RS door cards will clear the dash but I don't think the Imp L ones do, but don't hold me to it.

Also one problem with the GD dash in GC is you'll have a small(or large) gap between the dash and door jam depending on how much time you spend on it. I bought a long thick strip of foam lining(dark gray) to fill the small gap and it looks perfect now

The install does require everything from the donor dash like fan box, ac box and hvac controls and so on. Putting those boxes in you'll need to cut into the fire wall for the new heater hoses/ac plugs. The donor GD dash beam is required too.
