Default 1.8 to 2.2 Intake Manifold Question

I've read several threads for the 1.8-2.2L swap, but I'm unclear on the photos below. The car is a '93 Wagon with a 1.8L and the donor 2.2L is from a '93 dual port Legacy (at least that's what I was told). The car will be used for an Lemons race, so going no frills, just need to get everything bolted up.

I know the IAC setup is completely different between the two IMs, but how have folks handled blocking off the EGR inlet tubing to the IM (on the 1.8L manifold) since my 2.2 does not have this setup?

You can use a bolt to plug the EGR Port, it's a straight thread, not tapered. If you're cheap and lazy for a lemons car, cut the tube and crimp it shut with vice grips.

Really if you unhook the vacuum line to the egr valve, it should in theory never open, so you wouldn't have to plug the hole. But I would anyway.

Thanks. I opted to cut the tubing and tapped the ferrel(sic) fitting with a M12x1.75 bolt I had lying around, so Now the Im is plugged.

I planned on unhooking the EGR as well.
