Default Going from Auto to manual while doing EJ22T Swap

ok well i decided that most likely my 4EAT wont handel the HP im going for with my EJ22T Swap, so why not swap out the trans while i have the motor out and have down time.

here is what i need to know

1. is there a write up for this... i did a search and didnt find much info

2. No i dont have ABS and no i dont have Cruise Control nor do i care for these things.

3. I have a 1998 L wagon EJ22 AWD with a 4EAT (118k miles) the new motor is a 1994 Ej22T (From an automatic)

4. if there is no write up. anyone have the laundry list of parts ill need. and info on what needs to be changed with the ECU/Wireing (Expect HP from motor after mods to be 250-400 w/ 18+ psi boost)

thank you. That does clear up a few things...

but one other worry i have is this

If my car with the new motor makes (lets say) 400WHP what would be the best trasmission to use (WRX, STI, Forester, Leagacy, Impreza, I dont care) to take the power, and also be geared (or gearable) for high speed (150MPH+)
