Default Code 0180? Fuel Temp sensor circuit?

Hey all.

Run into a new problem. Sorting out the last bits of my EA to EJ convesion. Got the OBD II connector hooked back up. Scanned codes.

Got a p0180......Fuel temp sensor circuit.

Problem is, the ECU, Harness, Engine and everything are from a 96 Outback, MT, 2.2. I don't think it had a Fuel Temp sensor.

all the charts and diagrams I've seen show the Fuel Temp sensor as a 1.8 only.

Anybody got ideas?
