I'm tired of making them. Most of us are regulars at this point, so there really isn't any need for a new thread every week. New people are welcome and there is a map below.

Thursday Nights 7pm-9ish, then off to Starbucks @ Streets of Woodfield.

Since we are regulars here, we have a deal worked out with management: One bill with a group discount. The only rules are do not attempt to "ice" me & be respectful of the establishment.

All you really need is a decent snorkelling gear (mask/snorkel/fins). What they will try to sell you is the entire rig. You can always rent.

To get open water certified here (classes, tests and checkout dive) you'll need to get a wetsuit if you can't rent one.

If you have plenty of time at Zanzibar, you may want to do the checkout dive there.

thanks, I wont be buying an entire rig for sure, just the basics you listed.
