Default P0102 engine code

Apparently my MAf sensor went out. I replaced it with a reman. from shucks because they're so damn expensive! Before fighting with the people at shcucks telling them that the reman. MAf I got is bad, I would like to know if anybody knows what could be causing my problems. The car starts and will idle fine when you give it the gas it will lug for a second and then kick up to power. I have the p0102 check engine light code on which means MAF circuit low input. I've checked the wires, hoses, air leaks and I can't find anything. Anything else I should be checking before I warranty this "new" one?
