Does anyone happen to have a set of stock wheels they would be willing to sell? I only need one but I am willing to buy 4 if the price is right.. I managed to find 4"x4" laying across the road towards the end of last winter and destroyed a wheel and 1 strut.. Replaced the strut and put on the summer wheels a little early but never took the time to find a replacement wheel..

It's the sub 3k that gets ya. The damn thing shudders under 2200 on pretty much any kind of uphill, even the slightest grade. Then a downshift from 4-3 sends the rpm past 3500. The spacing is just weird. I know you don't commute or really drive anywhere in the boonies unless you are jamming gears kid rock style, but the gear spacing from 1-2 and 3-4 is straight awkward on a 35-45 mph road with hills and stop signs, which most of the burbs are. My rs was ok with the torque and the 4.11 but it ran out of breath at 5000 when you did want to go fast which I just can't switch back and forth from being a 10k+ guy on 2 wheels.

If anyone has a stock airbox laying around I could use one at some point. Mines cracked. Can't remember if it's the base or lid or both so need the whole thing minus the filter. I'll be at the meet this week if anyone wants to bring me one.

I still have mine laying around but won't be at the meet. I can give it to Ian though since he will be there if you want it.

That's a good looking cage! Who built it? What's the car being built for?

Cage was built by Havspeed for NASA rally

Most recent updates on the build are in my journal here:

You need to put a sweet stereo in there, maybe 2 12"'s and maybe a 1000 watt RMS class D Mono amp, then you're golden

ehh, it's pretty much gotta be one or the other, primates tend to play with the wiring, it would be a mess.

I was reading up on it. There is a 6 speed option, but only on the front wheel drive version. Not sure what nissan is thinking. 1.6l is also a problem.

Also, mention to Molly that Erika doesn't work Wednesday nights anymore and will be coming.
