IACV for EJ205 swap
I'm currently swapping an EJ205 into my forester, to replace a sick EJ20G. Got it running today and all seems stable, except i haven't sorted out the IACV. The 20G has a larger unit feeling into the intake manifold to the left of the throttle body, and a hose running across the top of the manifold to the intake.
The 205 is a smaller unit, on the throttle body itself. My issue is the 20G is 3 pin, the 20 is 6. Is it possible to use the 205 IACV, or am i better off modifying the throttle body and run the original 20G IACV? OR if anyone has the pinouts for either/both units that would also be muchly appreciated, as i cant for the life of me find a diagram for an early JDM S/Tb. Cheers |
