2011 Side Mirror Turn Signals

Side mirror turn signals are offered on the STI, it isn't an option on any WRX trim levels.
I've tried a few search terms and didn't see other threads on this.
Waiting for someone to start a DIY thread for installing the 2011 STI mirrors on a WRX. Takers?

I have been researching doing this swap myself and it at least looks feasible.

From talking with a parts guy at the dealer and looking at the wiring diagram in the service manual, the WRX and STI appear to share the same wiring harness to the side mirrors, so the turn signals would be present on the harness connector there.

Depending on if the guts of the mirrors are shared, it may be as simple as a scalp cover swap and getting the turn indicators to mount. Once I get some free time, I'm going to disassemble one of my side mirrors to see if the guts need to be swapped as well.

Do a search. Do it by specific topics. In fact do this

Go to interior and exterior modifications... scroll down (if on a computer) open a second page (if on nasioc mobile app)

First, thank you for the reference to the existing thread.

Second, thank you for the knee jerk reaction, assuming that I didn't search. I've spent several hours looking into doing this, and have spent time searching not only here, but Google as well, and reading my service manual trying to find information on the swap. I do not recall seeing the above thread pop up in search results for the keywords I searched for, which revolved around variations of sti side mirror turn signals, not side markers as the above thread is titled.

Again, thanks for replying, but this does not seem to be that popular of a topic for discussion and general searches result in a lot of noise.

This. I also tried before posting and didn't find anything. I did have 2011 in my search terms which likely didn't help. So much for no newb bashing in the newbs forum.
