thanks, my car has a bad cat so I was going to order new headers w/up pipe and catless downpipe along with a tuner which I havent actually made up my mind about but was curious whether or not to mess with the wg.

Has anyone had any experience with the Turbosmart Dual Port BOVs? I know its a 50/50 but I just like the look of it and it sounds good as well. Just wondering if it is considered a "quality BOV" just because obviously the manufacturer talks like its the best thing since sliced bread, but I just want to know if any one knows whether they leak bad or are a **** product?

what up yo'all! first time subie / wrx owner here..
![]() after reading this 200 plus post thread, i have to say, my head is spinning. ![]() all and all, i'm sold on the BOV, i got an HKS (which in did not get to fully exprience yet as my engine started knocking after just two days of me driving my very first subaru (wrx) ![]() ), but seems to me that BOV is not a such a bad thing. ( yes i did read throught he whole thread )I got mine purely for the sweet sound that it makes (although the descriptions of the products made me think that it actually makes the other parts of the engine last longer be releaving other parts of the pressure build up) which also seems to be one of the main reason they came up with the BOV idea according to that youtube video posted new posts earlier. i'm sure I'll have to check back once i get me wrx running again.. |

The valve is of sound quality, and when properly adjusted, never leaked for me. I fully intend on purchasing another one for use on my '11 REX. You won't be disappointed. |

I just installed this in my legacy last night and the directions in it were for a wrx, also it didn't give me anything to block or shut the recirculating hose that puts the air back in to the system. will it hurt anthing to leave that open?

I have one on my '04 wrx and it works great. I have it set for full recirc. I'm also running 20psi of boost. You will be just wasting money buying any aftermarket BPV and installing it on a stock wrx. The stock BPV is great and should stay on your car unless it's broke. Don't go for the pppssssttt sound. You will damage your car.
