Never had Jade Garden. I won't be able to make it to the meet since I'm in East Moline, IL.

Are you going to hang with the QC crew? They have pretty good meets too from what I hear.

On another note; I have a question for all the DMers:

Where does Ramsey stand with mods and warranty work? I am wondering because I purchased my STi at a Subaru dealer in Kansas and it already had a Perrin cold air intake on it.

Well, decided since I was done driving around for the day it would be a good time to give the car a quick bath on my way home and an excuse to get my first ever application of Aquapel on the car. Will see if this stuff is really as good as they say, although I am now hoping the application works as they say it should be applied between 50-80 degrees. Obviously not quite hitting that 50 degree mark...

I used my $50 gift certificate at Ramsey today to get some spark plugs for the GDB. Retail price on those spark plugs are $14.95 each. Good thing I had that gift certificate for parts. All I had to spend was $11.48.

I may check out the QC meets. I had a 06-07 sti honk at me at Walmart in Moline.

As far as I know, Ramsey isn't very mod-friendly. I'd lose the CAI anyway unles you're tuned for it.

You know, I was thinking yesterday as I was sitting in my "office" reading the latest issue of "Drive" from Subaru. Towards the back there is an area where Owners send in their own pictures and talk about their Subaru ownership, etc.

I had a thought: I think we need to get a good picture with as many of the cars lined up together, preferably in the snow, and send them a Club picture. Maybe something like down by the mile long bridge in that area that some of you have gotten pictures before. I think that would look really cool down there in the middle of winter, lake frozen, and snow everywhere. I think that would be kind of cool.

Ok. That's it. I've had it. I am going to switch to HIDs. Since I bought the car, I switched to the best quality sylvania silverstars..... 3 sets later I switched to Phillips HD. Now I'm on my second set of those. And one just was out when i got in the car tonight. Now its time to switch them both to hid, and at least then I don't have to worry about headlight dim from the stereo.
