whats up guys. i might be swapping my bugeye with a 06-07 sti motor. i have the wiring harness and ecu. my question is since 05-07 stis have an imobilizer, is there a way to convert my existing ignition switch to work with that system so i dont have to change all the key cylinders? i know its hard to change the ignition cylinder on the steering column so i want to avoid doing that.
also i was told i need a bracket to hold the gas pedal. is there a bracket that someone makes for conversions? is there anything else i need to know? btw the reason im doing a 06-07 sti swap is because i already have the harness and ecu. also i would like to have an imobilizer just in case some one would try to steal the car. i know if they want it, theyll take it but i would like to make it more difficult for them Last edited by fourage20; 02-03-2011 at 09:13 PM. |
