OK...I have one

many years ago I had a 1981 Celica GT ...nice car...loved it...it was modded a bit

Anyway....I pulled into the apartment complex I lived in...a bit too fast, mebbe :....the blacktop had been sealed not too long before and was REAL slick when it was wet.

I hit a puddle just left from somebody washing their car and looped it, and stopped perfectly in a parking spot like I had planned it, car stalled.

I got out and was walking away from the car like nothing happened

There were 2 girls walking past and one asked me ...
"Why do you drive like that?"

I thought for a sec and out came, "Because I can......?"

They were

oops...sorry....not my subie

Yup. While I think it probably was better before WRX's dropped under $10,000, there are idiots everywhere.

I was laying on a futon with some girl I just met. It was early the next morning after a party. Head was a little sore. Beyond the sliding glass door a car starts up. Sounds like a lawn mower. Our eyes were closed.

Me: ugh.. What the hell is that!
Her: *pfttt* probably just a Honda..

My eyes shot wide open and I smirked. Thought I just fell in love.

correct me if i'm wrong because you can very well be a taxonomist (not being sarcastic)

race- subspecies: (biology) a taxonomic group that is a division of a species; usually arises as a consequence of geographical isolation within a species

our species is homo sapiens

race is a subspecies which can, apparently be described geographically. hence, hatred toward the french is racism.

you don't even need to consider the details, just tell me how a thread about gear oil gets to a discussion about war and french people. wtf?

+1...That's why I love my wife so much.
Her: We have to put a turboback on my car, ("08 WRX) and get it tuned.
Me: Why, do you want it to be as fast as my STi?
Her: No, I want to put those kids with the Hondas with fartcans I see every day on my way back & forth to work in their place.
Me: You can do that when it's stock with a few exceptions.
Her: I don't want to doubt.

I was so embarrassed by the girl I took out last night. I live in alaska where 75 percent of the people here commute in trucks and here are her comments.

Her: What's that sticker on your window mean.
Me: it means it's a horizontally opposed 4 cylinder.
Her: hmm.. why don't you drive a truck?
Me: I used drive a big old 89 chevy but I hated paying to fill it up. Plus I have to much fun with my subarus.
Her: oh...welllll you should drive a truck, four cylinder cars are soooo rice.
Me: I'm guessing you drive a truck?
Her: duuuh and my dakota has the v6, it would smoke this thing.
Me: yeah your probably right, more cylinders doooes mean faster. Especially when positioned in a "v" cuz it's more aero dynamic right?( I just laughed inside because I was kidding with her)
Her: EXACTLY!
Face palm ensued.

Hahaha naw I'm not that mean, especially with a sure thing lol. To her credit she did enjoy the hard pull while entering the highway. I just kept the subject off of vehicles the rest of the night.

if you wanna confuse them, just say yes... while subaru may not have the copyright to say "hemi", the motors have a hemispherical design so we do have a "hemi"

I probably would have said/done something that I regretted. Dont know why they get so pissy when you call them dumb. If you say something stupid enough for me to call you dumb, you deserve it

Agreed but I like having a girl who doesn't get too into my car. I wouldn't like her taking the keys from me.
