Crap, I was thinking you were saying 18x9, not 17x9. Damn. Oh well.. Back to looking for some good black 18x9's. (I've got back and forth in my own head as to what size I want over the past few days.)
We'll probably do an 18x9 after the 17's have arrived and are selling.

Out of curiosity... what would it require to change the actual bolt pattern to a 5x114? I know they make adapters or whatever but I'm not interested in that. I was just wondering how feasible it was to properly change the bolt pattern.
It's not practical. You'd need to change hubs, and the 5x114 hubs have different front struts, and different axles. And the different axles have a different rear differential. And the different rear differential goes with a front differential, which is in your transmission. It would be very complicated and expensive to change it...

It should fit easily, with no rubbing. That tire is the same as the stock STI tire, and the offset is within 5mm of the stock offset. Easy fit.
I'd consider a wider wheel if you can, though. 8" is kind of skinny for a 245 tire.
