Default High Performance Race and Street Coolant!

I know that some of you have been asking about the coolant products that I now have available to me and I'm finally ready to start selling the products to the public!

A short history….....A local Pittsburgh company has been creating and testing these two coolant products for over 10 years in the motorcycle industry, in everything from small displacement 2 stroke dirbikes all the way up to forced induction drag bikes and after the success of the product in smaller motors, they wanted to expand into the auto industry. About 16 months ago I was approached and asked to help further their existing testing program in the automotive industry and I was offered the chance to private label the product for my own company. I helped provide the product to many shops, tuners, teams and racers across the US and in return we were able to do real world testing and we were graced with honest, positive feedback.

There are two products available. One is a water based product designed to drastically reduce engine heat in the most extreme conditions associated with high performance street cars and race applications, and the other is a propylene glycol based product that offers excellent cooling as well as freeze protection down to -25 degrees. The products focus on reducing surface tension inside the engine and the heat exchanger to allow more rapid heat transfer. The best thing about both of the products is the fact that they are environmentally friendly!!

The products have been tested in everything from big block, forced induction drag cars to naturally aspirated 4 cylinder street cars. We have two Time Attack turbo cars running and testing the product, a handful of SCCA Solo and ProSolo vehicles, some of the fastest 4 and 8 cylinder drag cars around as well as a large number of circle track vehicles. We even have two test cars using the products in their engine cooling systems as well as their air to water intercooler systems.

For more information please visit Moore Cool section of our website. There you will find a list of our current distributors and their contact information. Please let me know if you have any questions and feel free to email, call or pm me about our NASIOC member pricing!

***We are actively looking for distributors, so please let me know if you company would be interested in carrying the product. ***

The water based coolant product also passes ASTM corrosion tests normally associated with glycol based products for a protection against corrosion when in contact with metals like copper, brass, aluminum, steel, iron etc.

Also, pricing has been lowered/revised on the website and I'm sorry for the original incorrect pricing information.

Liking the new packaging! Nice job on the design, Ryan!

Do you know if Curt Brown ended up getting the Evo Black record??

I don't think he set the new Evo Black turbo record yet, but I believe he put together a high 500+ whp pull on an FP Green with our summer/winter Moore Cool glycol based product. I believe that might be a record for the FP Green. He's switching back to the race coolant this week and I'm sure he'll set a few hp and 1/4 mile records again this year with our coolant product in the rad!

For 2010 we did have many achievements with people using the product including an SCCA Solo national championship, multiple 1/4 mile records, dirt track and asphalt stock car wins as well as top honors with some of the fastest Time Attack sti's in the country. More cars and more to come in 2011!

Sounds very interesting. Have you tested the race coolant back to back with, say, filling the system with distilled water and a bottle of water wetter? And is the liquid slippery or does it conform to the rules of most sanctioning bodies that prohibit coolant?

The product has been approved by the AMA, NHRA, pending IHRA and were also talking with the SCCA and NASA. The product is water based (contains no glycol or glycol like compounds) and the proprietary additive package enables the coolant to work more efficiently than any other product on the market. This has been proven in our own back to back testing as well as testing conducted by race teams and engine buiders across the US. The product is also enviromentally friendly and it evaporates at the same rate as water if it is spilled onto the racing surface. We use this product in our engine cooling systems as well as our liquid to air IC setups.

The product just went through another round of abuse at VIR last weekend in some of the Time Attack cars, and it worked very well in those conditions again!

Can you provide data from a specific racing application to get an idea of what "drastically reduce" means? I understand each application would change the data but I was curious of what you have that you can share. Thanks!

Let me talk to a few of the guys that run the product in their time attack cars to see if they have data logs or exact numbers i can provided for you. When we tested last year with over 50 different types of vehicles, in many different race environments, most of the people testing saw a reducing in water temps of at least 10-15 degrees. Some more, some less, but the numbers we were given back put the masses in this range. This reduction was over the leading additive + water. Some of the drag racers that tested our all weather "street" product over straight water saw a reduction in temps of 10-15 degrees, then switched to our water based "race" product and noticed 15+ degree reduction in water temp. Let me know exactly what you'd like to see and I'll do my best to provide that data for you.

No need to Ryan. What you stated above is enough for me. I was just curious of an approximate number. Thanks!

No issues at all. We have many customers using the water based product in Florida and other warm states year round and they have no problems. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

I am mid rebuild on a 08 STi. New block will have Benson sleeves, Cosworth internals, full slate of cooling mods (Koyo, Crawford hp water pump, AC delete, Spal fans, E85, scoop block off (as its a FMIC), Swaintech coating on most parts, Mocal oil cooler, etc.) and all the other usual mods.

The car is in Colorado. Its a daily driver and 8-10 track day car in the summer (HPDE3/4 maybe TT this year).

I am considering trying your coolant.

As we do freeze here, I assume Ill need Street in the winter.

Will this protect internals as well as OEM coolant (Im not worried about a Subaru warranty anymore of course)?

Are there any issues switching to your Race version in the summer?

Do you ever recommend adding a water wetter to the mix?

Do your recommend increasing the % water in the summer?

Thanks for your help!

Correct. Street coolant has propylene glycol as a base to offer freeze protection.

Will this protect internals as well as OEM coolant (Im not worried about a Subaru warranty anymore of course)?

The race coolant has passed corrosion tests that only glycol based antifreeze/coolants typically pass (done by a 3rd part test facility) and from our testing it works very well to protect all metals on a subaru motor especially aluminum.

Are there any issues switching to your Race version in the summer?

Not at all. Just drain out what you can and replace street coolant with race coolant.

Do you ever recommend adding a water wetter to the mix?

No. Our proprietary formula is specially formulated to enhance heat transfer better than any other product on the market today and is to be used as it comes straight out of the bottle.

Do your recommend increasing the % water in the summer?

No. The coolant being poured straight out of the bottle is the best mix and we purposely premix the amount for you so there is no thinking involved. Just drain your system and pout it in.

Thanks for your help!
Let me know if you have any other questions!
