Played with the anti-lag a bit. hahaha. Too bad after the edit only a few flames can be seen. Guess I didn't have the FPS high enough...

Fast forward to Present Day 2011!
Weather has been crap March/April so I didn't do any track days. Getting warmer so I decided to put on my new rotors Johann @ Girodisc in Bellingham hooked me up with. Way better than the DBA 5000 stuff everyone is running for this price range. 2 piece rotor so it weighs 16.5lb compared to the 20.5lb stock rotor. Curved directional vane design so it actually pumps air from the inside > outside of the rotor unlike the "kangaroo paw" DBA 5000's or pillar vane stockies. 28mm min thickness. ![]() ![]() OEM (20.5lb) left. Girodisc (16.5lb) right. Reduction of 4lb unsprung weight each side. Total 8lb. Better acceleration! ![]() Up-close laser etched. ![]() Hardware up close. Spring to reduce noise and directional vanes ![]() Final result. ![]() Last edited by alcoolaid; 10-18-2012 at 11:20 PM. |

Glad to see my dpt's get done in the color I wanted them to be! Nicely done. It was nice to meet you and if you ever want to sell the dpt's, I'd gladly buy them back anyday! Such a sick car man!

Been following your build very closely and watching all your videos!
I have a very similar setup to you! I brought the same turbo from the guy that used your video to sell it on here. Lol Congrats on a great car man, awesome job! |
